[1] Denial Is More than Just a River in Egypt - Continued
The Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution states:
“The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”
Each of the uniformed federal officers in the following video has taken an oath specified in 5 USC § 3331 and elsewhere to “…to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic”:

God is judging the U.S. for its many corporate and individual sins and its flagrant unrepentance, and one of these judgments is the loss of liberty that occurs when government entities and their representatives violate their oaths of office (“Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.” Exodus 20:16) and usurp powers not granted to them (“Thou shalt not steal.” Exodus 20:15).
The editor respectfully implores his brothers and sisters in Christ in the U.S. to face the realities of our present situation, to stop pretending that our freedom to worship God and our other freedoms are not in serious danger, and to take these matters to the Throne of Grace, which is the only place where any effective remedies for the evils of this world will be found.
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14
Almighty God, we implore your forgiveness for our continual individual and corporate sins against you, and for our long silence and antipathy in the face of these sins. We humbly ask you to pour out your grace, your forgiveness, and your Holy Spirit upon your people in this nation and this world - starting with me – and that this nation and world will be overwhelmed with your salt and light, that our land and this world will be healed, and that your will is truly done on earth as it is in heaven. In Jesus’ name we ask these prayers. Amen.

The 61st meeting of the Free Church School in Theology is scheduled for 2-5 September 2013 at the Boy’s Brigade Training Centre, Carronvale House, in Larbert, Scotland.
Scheduled speakers include the Rev. Alasdair J. Macleod on ‘The Life and Sermons of Robert Murray McCheyne’, the Rev. Kenneth Stewart on the ‘Substitutionary Atonement of Christ’, the Rev. James Clark with an ‘Exposition of Romans 7:1-13’, the Rev. Harry J. T. Woods on ‘New Calvinism’, the Rev. Greg MacDonald on ‘Christ In Proverbs’, the Rev. Malcolm H. Watts on the ‘Imputation of the Righteousness of Christ’, and the Rev. Andrew R. Allan on the ‘Privileges of Preaching the Gospel’.
The meeting additionally includes daily devotionals, evening worship services, and a business meeting on the afternoon of 4 September.
The cost of the entire conference is UK£90 including lodging, meals, and breaks. Soap and towels are not provided. Prorated costs are available for day visitors and for shorter stays.

U.S. News & World Report in its Best Nursing Homes of 2013 report has given a five-star rating to the Bethlen Communities in Ligonier, Pennsylvania. Bethlen’s Board of Directors is a group of dedicated individuals representing the Hungarian Reformed Federation of America, Calvin Synod Conference of the United Church of Christ, the Hungarian Reformed Church in America, other Hungarian Reformed congregations, and the Greater American-Hungarian and Ligonier communities.
In a 27 February 2013 article by ARP Magazine Editor Delores McDonald titled “Covenant Way Retirement Center Closing” reports that after thirty years, the Covenant Way (formerly Due West Retirement Center) is closing its doors due there not being enough residents to keep the facility financially sustainable.
Covenant Board Chairman Jack Hill asked for prayer “for God’s provision for the residents and staff during this time of change in their lives.”
