On 2 September 2010, the executive committee of the Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS) Board of Trustees elected Dr. Michael A. Milton as chancellor elect and successor to Dr. Robert C. (Ric) Cannada, Jr.
Dr. Milton and Dr. Cannada will share leadership responsibilities until 1 June 2012, at which time Dr. Milton will assume full responsibilities as chancellor and Chief Executive Officer of RTS, and Dr. Cannada will remain with RTS as chancellor emeritus, assisting the seminary with the anticipated fiftieth anniversary financial campaign.

On the eve of Roman Catholic Church Pontiff Benedict XVI’s 16-19 September 2010 to Great Britain, the Trinity Review has published “Papacy Set to Recapture England: John Henry Newman’s Work Bears Fruit” by Richard Bennett of Berean Beacon Ministries.
The Pope is scheduled to visit England 16-19 September 2010 for to perform the second stage of English Cardinal John Henry Newman’s canonization, or path to sainthood, by virtue of which Newman will be pronounced “Blessed.”
Additionally, the pope will be addressing both houses of Parliament, and is expected to be promoting the Roman Catholic Church-State’s religious and political control of the Church of England.
